In memory of the late founding member of Ditchling Morris, President of the Morris Federation, and EFDSS Gold Badge awardee John Bacon, this archive has been designed to allow all with an interest in morris dancing, folk music and traditional customs to search his extensive collection of photographic and recorded materials. With over 160 hours of analogue film featuring morris sides and dances from around the UK and beyond, as well as hundreds of hours of digital video, photos, Dennis Outred's "Sussex Mummers Plays", Raglan notations, and much more, this extensive collection is being created to make morris that which John Bacon always wanted; accessible to ALL.

This collection will continue to be constantly updated, and is being done to the highest archival standards and practices by professional archivists. Please do bear with us as we create this resource.
